Fantastic design, I also really like that the B&W was very controlled, not hotspots or areas that are too dark, just a perfectly balanced flame.

Some play nice like this, others are problematic

I was able to create something like this using just linear parameters but this is much more intricate.
Nicely done Ian.

Linear can do an awful lot, tons more with a little spherical thrown in, but I really like the forms this script provides

Agreed. Spherical does help. I'll try this script.

Ooh.. The kind of 'rough' feel to it makes this piece a bit... *Tries to find some other word to describe it besides 'scary.'* Lol.
It suits.

"alarming, bloodcurdling, chilling, creepy, eerie, hair-raising, hairy*, horrendous, horrifying, intimidating, shocking, spine-chilling, spooky, unnerving"
- from Thesaurus.com Why haven't they got 'disturbing'?

This is the best!
I remember The Young Ones. Lentils

Neil's signature dishes: "Lentils on toast: Toast some bread (not money), sprinkle lentils on top. Lentils: Just get together some lentils..." Ironically, I eat plenty of the things: red, green, brown, Puy, black; moong and chana dals...

Are those all lentils? Which are the best?

Horses for courses! Puy are perhaps considered the most 'gourmet' and hold their form well; red turn mushy and make good spreads; moong give a porridge-like consistency; green are pretty good all-rounders...

Despite your sick humoured quote, I rather like this. Well made as always.

One of the things I can see in it is heads, perhaps reptilian, with open jaws, clamped around other similar jaws in an orgy of mutual comsumption, hence the old 'Young Ones' line

Yes, it is so complex you can find plenty of jaws.
I remember once the "young ones" destroyed their home.
British humour is much funnier than French and we both miss it.
You are right to eat lentils. Ours are the Puy sort but I do like Indian style orange dhall. Chana dhall is nice too. Best to mix with rice to make better quality protein , but I expect you know that.

Use search in page - it's quite near the bottom. Nearly pissed myself laughing the first time, but 'The Young Ones' just hasn't aged (sic!) well

Ah right!
I see it as something profound and didn't realise it was from a comedy! But I guess it is quite profound anyway, as it was meant to be at the time, Thatcher's reign.
It is pretty darn wacky and unqiue! I have always wanted to see more, but never got round to it. Thanks for prompting me to do so.

I watched The Young Ones here on BBC Prime some years back. Then the channel disappeared. That was a shame. I can't get any BBC at all now. They don't share!

Very Cool!! I love the detail in this. Almost right in the middle, I see a small creature, looks kinda like a koala bear, holding a little monkey. Am I crazy?

Definitely not crazy... unless I am. Oh, wait, I am I see different things every time I look at this: moths, other insects, bone, skulls, eagles, snakes...
