Aaaand finally, after at least 5 months of procrastination, my -inspired character design sheet for Ikarus! Obviously my most-developed OC, he's my pride and joy. I'm kinda proud of his design - not just visually, but also his backstory and personality. I threw a ton of research into this guy, and I even did my senior exhibition (required to graduate from my highschool) about AIs, using Ikarus as part of the project.It seems amazing I've had Ikarus for this long! Seems like I created him only last year, but I've had him since junior year of highschool at least... o_O That's almost 4 years!
Anyway, this CD sheet is VERY Shinerai-influenced, as he's an amazing artist who I wish I could get to know better, just cause he seems like such a nice person and I think I could learn alot from him. Check out his page! You won't regret it! He helped me with info on how he makes his sheets, and I choose to imitate his textured background/border choices as well as naming leftover blank spaces so they won't be blank anymore (which has become sort of a joke now...) Although he usually does sheets for his dragon-ish characters, I thought I'd use his ideas to make a nice sheet for my favorite OC. Thank you, Shin!
Oh, and I actually for some reason didn't include any information about Ikarus's wings, which is probably bad... but they only show up in the digital world anyway, so yeah. >_>

At first I didn't think Icarus was connect to the .Hack which blew me away in thinking what kind of story he could be used for. But having him in .Hack totally fits what he is capable of.
And I always love it when "things" learn to be human. It's a rather beautiful feat. X3

Well, Ikarus has enough of a background that I could easily transfer him into an original story outside of .hack, without an MMO and stuff. XD Though I see no reason to, unless I'm gonna try to make an original manga with him or something, like my roommate wants me to. lol
My grades are... acceptable, considering I wasn't at my best this semester. I'm just glad it's over. XD

Haha, I don't even have enough perseverance to finish one page, let alone a whole manga. My attention span's waaaay too short. So I'd have to have someone else on the project with me, especially for the paneling.

I'm so glad you finished this sheet (and that I get to see!) I really like this OC. Very creative and even though I never followed .hack a whole lot, I could tell he was a .hack OC ;D His story is really interesting too and his clooothes and colorrsss and designnn and I <3 all those illustrations ;A;

I love .hack, but it's prolly waaaaay too long for you to watch all the series, play all the games, and read all the manga/books all in one go! lol Let's see, which would be the best to recommend relating to Ikarus... Oh! The short novel .hack//AI Buster would give you an idea, though it's kinda a side story.

xDDD i dunno. It only took me 4 days to watch all 60 eps of avatar, haha. And a little over a week to watch 114 eps of YYH :E so i bet it wouldn't take me TOOOOOOO long <3

My guys have seen weirder stuff than purple hair. XD They come from a society made up of all sorts of odd creatures. They might think he dyed it though, cause I'm not sure they have run into humans with hair that is naturally purple or blue. :3
