The Recursor Class Cruiser / Carrier served under the Confederate navy, and filled the existing gap between, the Providence Class and its Dreadnaught version.
Construction of this class began on the Neimoidian shipyards in 20 BBY, with 10 hulls laid down.

This ship was a perfect balance between fire power,shielding and starfighter capacity.

It was armed with 1 heavy turbolaser cannon, 47 dual medium turbolaser turrents and 15 point defense laser cannons.

The shields were the best that the Confederacy could offer, and were more than a match for a Venator class in battle.

These ships could carry 120 Vulture droid fighters, 120 Droid tri-fighters and hundreds of droid armored vehicles.

They saw action mainly during the Outer Rim sieges, in the end of the Clone Wars, and gave the Republic a tough time in battle.

One ship of this class served Under the Rebel Aliance and saw action on Jakku.
