I didn't see the Stickmen in the eye at first but it really adds to the dark atmosphere.
The nosse and tear being merged like this does a good job of showing how close these two can sometimes be I'd say.

Fascinating. It's a unique twist I see on the whole looking at the soul through a person's eyes kind of vibe. The noose as a teardrop is a neat idea, though I also saw it as if by pulling it the eyelids would be forcibly closed shut, plunging the caged one into more darkness.
