paint is awful for it

I really like this, just keep in mind where fur naturally placed. Most of the time it is clumped! :>

You may get better results by studying the natural pattern and layering of fur, but it's a good start

very good, at least it's much easier than the one I used in my journal fox, XD
When I was doing it seemed I was doing something in 3D for the number of steps he was doing XD.
I think I'm doing much complicated.

I used Photoshop Adobe, however I think it could work for practically any program.
It works best if you use a pressure sensor enabled program. Good ones would be paint tool sai, coral painter, sketchbook and illustrator.
