This is beautiful. Can you give me some tips with the various lightings and perspectives?(I struggle with perspectives, which is my main issue with water. Very complex for a simple moon/night sky drawer.)

Anyway, this is very helpful! I love the way the lighting is. The glow is so unique and special and mystic and just straight up awesome.

Sure! :3 so what I think about is usually the flow of water. A few years back I replicated an underwater shot using pencil to get the hang of it. If you look at most water you can usually see that there are shadows and highlights everywhere. and that lightest highlights and the darkest shadows are usually right next to each other according to where the light is. Mostly it takes practice to develop an intuition of the highlights and shadows by constantly replicating and studying water flows. However, tones of blue rely a lot on the atmosphere you are truing to create. A foggy river usually either has really grey blues or greens , an ocean or deep water void usually has really dark true blues or purples. And if you are going for a day scene or a mystic scene, you can use bright blues. The war to bring out the glow is all in the shading. Use several different shades of the color and use some greens or purples too! :3
