So I know I'm not the first person to come up with this, and Sirius is going to smack me for making puns with his name and I very well deserve it. But I couldn't resist. After all I am seeing The Dark Knight (again) tonight.
But that's not the point. The point is today is Harry Potter Fandom Day and wearing my Sirius Black shirt gave me this idea. lol So Have a very Harry HP Day! Throw a Potter Party, watch the movies, cosplay, pull out your old fan art, whatever! Just enjoy the day, and remember this time last year when we were all holed up in our rooms reading The Deathly Hallows, or were pacing as we waited to get a chance to.
And please no one make fun of my shoddy photoshop work. I threw this together in 5 minutes. lol

I have more about it in my blog but there's mild spoilers in the post and the comments so beware. I'll say the entire cast was remarkable, as were most of the effects, but if I continue I'll probably slip up. lol Trust me, though, it's worth seeing.

I was never a "die-hard" fan, persay, but I don't think I ever saw a movie with him in it that I didn't like. I was very very sad when he died all the same-my friend was on the phone when I saw it on MSN and I screamed "WHAT!?!?! NOOO!!!" and she was like "ow?"
And yes, he did more than a phenomenal job. He was surreal.

Well, I'd seen him in The Patriot, Ned Kelley, A Knight's Tale, and Ten Things I Hate About You at that point. I never saw Brokeback Mountain or Casanova-I was too scared. lol

It got to the point I'd not do walk downs in anything sbove PG 13. I'd get someone else to do it. I was scarred for life after checking in on saw 3.

XP Blech, I hate movies like that. I could understand if it was a horror movie, but the Saw movies seem to just be "pointless killing" movies to me. Doesn't help that I'm dreadfully squeamish/hemophobic D:

I'm squeamish too. Not as much as I used to be in some cases, but others I'm a lot worse than I used to be. Blood, for example, among other body fluids, totally grosses me out whereas when I was younger I'd be gazing kind of dazedly at a gash in my knee and not be affected other than "ow." Then you've got BUGS. I used to dislike bugs, but now I think they're awesome.
