Description
That's what I love about Deadpool: he has more reason to be all broody and angsty than anyone, and what does he do? He just turns it into another joke at his own expense.Disclaimer: I don't own. Characters property or either Marvel or DC

Exactly. Wade is so out of his fucking mind, he takes tragedy very well.

Deadpool sure is a pretty tragic character , once you dig down to it .
That being said, I think Peter Parker had a pretty sh*tty life too . I mean, aside from his uncle, he lost his firstΒ big love interest, the one he considered his brother,Β his best friend for some times, and his own baby....And all of that is caused by just one enemy ! And there is still more....

Like I always say, the minute he stops making you laugh, it gets so sad you just want to hug the poor guy.
True, he has it pretty rough too, but this was for the sake of humor. Really, superheroing itself is just a guarantee for a miserable life.

True that . I think the time Wade got a normal look might be one of the best things that ever happened tohim . And even there, he couldn't use his healing factor !
About super-heroism , it's true as hell . Once you get a costume, it seems like all of your problems get increased by ten . Especially in our era, when the credo really seems to be :" It sucks balls to be a super-hero ! " . At least there was a bit of fun back on the 60'sΒ ^^
I think this is one of the reasons than the series Batman the Brave and the Bold left me good memories : it was sometimes silly, but so entertaining ! And also still respecting the tragedy of Batman .

"You know, I can heal your cancer Wade."
"No thank you Kal, thanks for the offer though."

1) Yeah, because without the cancer the healing factor would go into overdrive and he'd pop like a balloon. Happened to some Skrulls with his powers
2) I forget, when was that established?

In Superman: Doomsday, Kal tries creating a formula that can cure cancer, but he fails.

-That is so something Lex Luthor would do.
-I love when they show that Superman tries to cure human diseases in his frozen arctic house with a partially-restored Titanic and a robot butler. The work of the Silver Age of comics at its finest.
-"Just the x-ray" Jeez, even Superman has more of a sex drive than Spider-Man. Seriously, how did MJ get pregnant? No wonder the Clone Saga was so confusing.

Deadpool keeps his real shit to himself. I think he realizes no one would care.
That's the thing about Deadpool- without those jokes, he'd be awful depressing.

Sweet mother Magi!
Dude, you have nearly perfected the essence of what makes Deadpool comedy gold. Actually scratch that, at this moment the randomness and the sheer aloofness is perfect to how random yet hilarious the character is. So kudos!
