The Spectacular Spider-Man? Canceled after 2 seasons. Super Hero Squad Show? Canceled after 2 seasons. Iron Man: Armored Adventures? Canceled after 2 seasons. (I think. They're not being very clear with that one.) Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes? Canceled after 2 seasons. Wolverine and the X-Men? Canceled after one season.And most of them had a lot of unresolved plot threads.
All owned by Marvel and not me, please comment, blah blah blah, come on people, we've DONE this before!
EDIT: I heard Ultimate Spider-Man is getting a season 3, so I changed it. Y'know, since I'm one of the few people who DOESN'T hate it.

What pisses me off the most is that Spidey Unilmited was canned after 13 episodes and never did Marvel decided to make any spin-off comics about it. He didn't showed up in Spider-Verse ONCE, and never beyond the PS1 games could you wear the costume. It would've been nice to wear it in place of the 2099 costume in Edge of Time or Shattered Dimensions.

The thing is, the only one that probably got canceled by it's own faults was Wolverine and the X-Men (the single season would suggest it's ratings were poor). I can understand that, but not the rest.
IM:AA had one of the best storylines in any Super-Hero show. SHS was fun for the kids because of the juvenile comedy and fun for the adults who got many of the references that went over the kids heads, but I those two might have been canceled over the fact that the Marvel shows were owned by Disney, a competing network. Still, there's no reason both shows couldn't have been moved to Disney XD.
But for Avengers: EMH, there IS no excuse. None at all. Despite having better animation, AA is a far weaker show. While Hulk is still Hulk (you'd have to really work to screw him up), the rest is, well, not so good. Removing Cap as the leader pretty much cut out about half of what his character is. Iron Man is almost as smart as the previous version, but with less of the smart-ass that made him so good. Hawkeye's not nearly as funny as the writers want him to be and neither is his voice actor. Thor just isn't the same as he was. Falcon is not worthy to fill Black Panther's place. And Black Widow brings NOTHING to the team other than being the girl. Wasp was ten times the character she is. Wasp was not just the girl, but she was cute and funny and able to get away with things only the cute, funny girl could get away with (and without a doubt the show's most popular character).
Wasp is a victim of what I call "Diomedes Syndrome." If you don't know, Diomedes is one of the most prominent characters in the epic The Illiad, but almost nobody knows who he is. They know everyone else. Achilles, Agememnon, Hector, Paris, Odysseus, and Ajax all get noticed, by not Diomedes. The effect usually goes like this:
1: We can't include him in this film!
2: Why?
1: Because nobody knows who he is!
2: Nobody knows who he is because we don't include him in the movies!
1: Yeah, but we don't include him in the movies because nobody knows who he is!
... and thus goes the circular argument. Sorry to go off on a rant there, but it is pretty much what happened to Wasp.

Well, yeah. Everyone but Wolverine was reduced in both ability and role. But that doesn't change how they left us hanging.
I think both shows did a great job of re-creating the Marvel universe that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created.

Honestly, I think Ant-Man was hit with it harder than Wasp. Neither are respected Avengers outside the comics anymore.

What annoys me is how they kicked out the ever-unappreciated Ant-Man and Wasp because they're trying to make EVERYTHING more like the movie. (Yes, it was beyond awesome, but shaping the comics around it is just shameless)

Mhmm. You know what I find amusing? Most people wonder why Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and The X-men are the most used material for cartoons, when the simple fact is they never allow themselves to use anything else!
Man can you imagine a Guardian of the Galaxy cartoon series rather then a movie? It would be so great!
