Had a Nerf Vulcan for a year or so and never got around to modding it... until now.[link]
Removed the ARs from the body and the belt. Altered the belt so that its a continuous loop and then added a 9.6 volt RC battery for better rps.
I wanted this to me more of a mobile gun than a turret.

Man, I am getting some feeding issues with the looped belt. It fires for several rounds and then the teeth start to slip. I've tried keeping it level, etc. It's running on 12.6v right now.
The gun I am trying it out on is a little bit beat up; an old war horse that has seen many hours of combat - so I am not sure if that has something to do with it.
Do you have any feeding issues at all with the looped belts? Optimally I'd love to have multiple looped belts on hand to swap out, making it a mobile beast like yours...

I have the same feeding issues with the belt as well and mine was new. I have a feeling its because its not being contained in the bin and the weight of the belt itself is whats making is slip.
I usually end up having to hold the belt for smooth feeding. Defeats the purpose though.

You did a great job with this. I rarely see Vulcans I like, but this looks really cool. Kinda has a Gundam feel, the way the Matte colors and the Metals are so distinct.

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to do something different and make it more portable. It's not my favorite of the bunch as I couldnt do much with increasing its distances, but it's still fun to play with.
