Description
Originally conceived as the original mk2 variant of the Fortress class, the Indomitable is a far more heavier armed and shielded version. However costs determined that few were ever produced.

Whereas a third of all Fortress Battlecruisers were upgraded to the mk2, only 4 of the Indomitable were produced: the Indomitable (namesake of the class variant), the Drakensberg, the Helios and the Caesar.

This Battlecruiser replaces all the standard kinetic cannons with scaled down warcruiser coil cannons. Theven weapons had unprecedented accuracy and shield penetration.
All 4 were after trails mothballed but transferred to the 1st Fleet as the Emperor's Own escort fleet.

(Ship is a redesigned fine by HandofManos. I asked for thexample warcruiser cannons asked some they looked good and thought they'd future rhe Battlecruiser as well. The final design came out unexpectedly good. I recommend you support him as he is quite talented with ship design)
