Description
This is a Lighthugger, the main ships in the Revelation Space book series by Alastair Reynolds. These babies are 2 to 4 kilometers long and conical, with two quantum-mechanics powered Conjoiner Drives to propel the ships to near the speed of light (hence the name 'Lighthugger'). There are many Lighthuggers travelling between star systems, and most are inhabited by crews of cyborgs called Ultranauts.
