Special Features: This class is equipped with an experimental Anti-shield intersection grid on its main fuselage. This grid minimizes damage when attacked from shield missiles, and starships raising their shield, intersecting with it. This grid is too expensive to also cover the engines, and pylons, so these less important parts are still an open target for these kind of attacks.

This class sports the latest advancements in all systems combat related. It’s optimized to be able to project firepower in any direction, especially front facing directions. It’s enclosed hangar bays do a great job of protecting it’s fighters until they’re to be deployed. Since this class is meant to be a flagship of a fleet, Its open bridge affords an expansive panoramic view, and numerous consoles for complete control of the vessel, and command over its escorting fleet. This class is also designed to offer an extreme amount of protection to the important commanders of this ship. In the event of it’s shields going down, It’s bridge can retract deep into the hull, covering the bridge in its G-90 Gehaveah Heavy armor. This process also affords the bridge coverage by the Anti-shield intersection grid.

Fun Facts: The Anthem class is one of the most secretive starship projects conceived. While Amnach combat ships are already heavily classified, a large cruiser, with an emphasis on offensive capabilities, is something that is prioritized above all others on staying out of the public’s eye.
