Special Features: The Stratonata class is too thin to have a hangar capable of storing, and maintaining her detachment of 2 Amnachia Strephonia gen-6 shuttlecraft, so a special solution was devised to solve this problem. On the underside of her hull, on both the port and starboard sides, there is a cavity, where these ships could dock, and a door would close beneath them. This offers the shuttles just as much protection as a conventional hangar, with the downsides being a lack of artificial gravity, and inadequate room for maintenance. The cargo doors, and side passenger door on the shuttles can still be used, as an adjustable, built in gangway can connect to most vessels that can fit into the bay. If outside access is needed for these shuttles, atmosphere can be pumped into these areas, or spacesuits can be worn.

Description: The Stratonata class is the backbone of the Amnach space force. In fact, it’s one of the only combat vessels (officially) widely employed by the Amnach space force, besides fighters, and other small craft.

Fun Facts: Some Stratonata class ships are equipped with a complement of 1 shuttlecraft, and 4 T-11 attack craft, instead of just 2 shuttles. This is rare however, because these ships are almost always escorting larger ships that have better carrying abilities.
