OMG! I ACTUALLY made a tutorial!! oh no my secret techniques of colouring are out!! lol
i hope this is helpful
sorry i'm soooo bad at explaining things!! it's so crap X_x I hope you can somehow make sense of it...oh and by the way, this is a lot different to how I colour my animal pictures when I'm using a photo reference. I just thought I'd mention that

ooo skin is sooo tough to get the colours right >.< and it depends what colours you have - what kind of pencils do you use first of all? Because i know some brands give names to their colours, but the pencils i use don't >.< if your pencils do, this is going to sound so strange but could you list the colours you have? then i can help you out with which ones you can use for the skin and in what order

Well, I tend to be very private with my art which is why I don't have hardly anything posted. lol. I have much better things that I never post. However, I plan to use your helpful tutorial for any picture I plan to colour from now on. So I WILL post a picture so you can see. I'm starting a new picture right now that I plan to colour which may be the one I post.

My camera takes crappy pictures when it comes to art for some reason. (I should probably scan the picture instead) If you compare the colouring on this to my other drawing on here, it's easy to see the improvements.
Oh and thanks to you, my pictures have been receiving high amounts of praise. ^_^ The finished product is much better and I thought of showing you somehow, I just don't want to post in on here. lol. (I'm too skeptical of my stuff, lol)

yea, i was given these pencils at one stage and it was like coloring with a bit of wood, pulling out my fave faber castel watercolour pencils and getting the resultd i wanted was a huge wake up call

Would you happen to know any good techniques for drawing fur with colour pencil? I am really stumped trying to find a half-way decent explanation.
