I feel really mixed about this. I think it's a bit silly to 'sell a species' or an 'oc/fursona/ type deal, but I think people are well within their rights to charge whatever they want for commissions and art if they need to pay their bills or whatever their needs are. I disagree with the notion that "Artists should get a normal/other job to pay it'. I believe artists deserve to be paid because the work they do can be difficult, they often spend a lot of money and time training for their skills and for people to say "Your commissions are too much/can you offer at a lower price" is disrespectful to be honest, and it suggests that art is 'not a real job', when there are tons of artists getting paid even a handsome amount for their work if people are willing to pay for it. 

Like I said, I think the selling of 'species' or whatever it is is weird, but I don't think people should be upset with how others price their art. I get that people can be upset about this and feel that 'well art doesn't pay the bills and you don't deserve to overcharge as an artist'. People often don't see that the amount of time that goes into art is well within a large amount of time sink. Time is a large cost. Materials are a cost. People who charge for art deserve to be compensated regardless of what art they are trying to sell no matter how weird or overpriced it is. If people don't want to pay the price, cool. Someone else probably will, so let them.

There will always be people expressing unnecessary advice about how people should not "rant", most people enjoy reading a good rant, but it can get super annoying if it's overdone. 

What people don't understand is that ranting is healthy and a good way of unleashing bottled up emotions. While others can claim "it's feeding the trolls" it often is not, especially if the people annoying you weren't trolls and simply expressing unnecessary input or habits.

Very true. I only rant once in a while when my patience has reached its limit and i bring in the sarcasm. I agree that ranting too much does become annoying because it feels as if the person ranting is always angry, never bringing attention to the things that the person appreciates. Worse when it's the same issue daily they rant about.

I wish people would understand that. What's funny is my friend is a troll himself (not the ones that caused me issue), so through his eyes any ounce of anger will allow "trolls to win" regardless if they see the rant or not. Though with him saying I can't rant, made me want to rant about why I rant to explain the reason why I rant. I rant to make a point and to release all the frustration bent up inside of me. Sadly, some people don't understand that.

Lol I like anime, and I do wanna vist japan, but I wanna experience the culture as well. It's alright to be a weaboo in the beginning like when I was 13, but if I still act like that now..hm not okay.

Agreed. I want to visit Korea for example, not because of K-Pop but to meet new people and experience their culture Yeah believe it or not this one girl is around my age which is 19 but she's still a freakin weaboo. Thinks all Japanese sub fans hate dub animes, think dub lovers are idiots, thinks FUNImation steals anime...yeah I don't know WHERE she got that info from.

Lol yep, I was also chastised for ranting on Mormons (won't go into detail), but there's American's who know less about the religion than I do and dislike it. I just find the whole concept ridiculous, but I feel all religions are ridiculous XD

It's over in America too I think. But yeah! They pick great va's, don't edit their anime, etc. She said FUNImation never licence's their anime; and got upset because for this one anime the creator didn't like the fact, that they dubbed the anime...but it doesn't mean they stole the anime right? She follow's every freakin thing the creator of this anime Kuroshitsuji says. (She's American too I might add)

It doesn't matter to me if they do so or not. I would rather have FUNimation dub animes than 4kids XD and she's real into Kuroshitsuji I'm guessing? I don't like the anime, I think it's from all of the hype XD

Oh god 4Kids...actually YuGiOh's dub was pretty decent; that's how I got into anime really but then I read the manga series and saw how much they changed in it :/ Oh yeah she's a fanatic over it big time; all she reads is Kuroshitsuji, I was reading her profile once and...she said she didn't want to hurt any of the character's 'feelings' by saying what her favorites were? O_O

Yeah it's not my favorite either to be honest I used to like it, but now I'm kinda bored with it.

That was decent as I remember it, but they killed One Piece. I'm like that, but with my characters XD, I only have two though >>;

I never saw what was so great about it. I'm very picky with my animes/mangas since they eyes have to be right, and the style has to be, in my opinion, decent.

Indeed. I mostly read the manga's first, to see if I like the anime well enough. I prefer stuff like Naruto, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon, Hamtaro etc.

Hamtaro was soooo freakin cute man I used to watch it everyday, after I got home from school on Cartoon Network ^.^ Good news is Toonami is making a return soon; so hopefully Hamtaro will eventually be in the line up

Yes I'm not sure when, but I heard around this year, Dragonball Z, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood will all be on the air ^.^ I already own all the seasons for FMA: Brotherhood but I've never seen Trigun before, now I'll have a chance to watch it
