I feel like this scene was completely appropriate for this scene because there were times where I too did something similar to this. My parents have little scuffles from time to time, and even though they're not as intense as the fights between Sanatani's parents - I still had nobody else to turn to for comfort. So, due to that problem, I turned to my online friends or my even my cat to give me comfort - though my cat didn't offer me anything but a simple "meow".
My online friends helped me push back my depression - kind of like how Adi is comforting the dhole. They know very little about each other, as I know very little about my online friends. But they were still there for me - through hard times and worse. Although I was more tearful than Sanatani - Sanatani is shaken up just like I was.
I enjoy the read so far and I saw you like really big paragraphs. I tried my best to give you the longest one I can muster.
Keep up the amazing work and maybe I'll do fan-art of someone eventually.

Surprise hug attack from Sanatani! 
I've been following this comic for awhile, and I should say that it's really unique - I've seen a lot of comics that focused on both predators and prey, but you managed to show the situation from the view of both parties without dumbing down the prey or turning the predators into mindless monsters. Both Adi and Sanatani are such complex, well-written characters, and it's interesting to see their relationship progress. So far, I see them more as older brother/little sister, and lowkey ship Adi and Sri, but I guess we'll see where you would take the story.
