WILD
Torvosaurus is a perfectly capable hunter, but it's easier to steal a meal than to find your own. The hairs on Torvosaurus' tail can slough off, irritating the eyes and throat of anything caught in the resulting cloud. While they are blind and wheezing, Torvosaurus escapes with its stolen bounty scott free, while its pursuers are left in the dust.

Torvosaurus may not be as outright powerful as other predators in its weight class, but large tribes still find them to be valuable war mounts, due to their superior mobility and ability to carry several armed tribesmates. Acquiring one isn't as simple as knocking it out, though. While not immune to tranquilizers, Torvosaurus won't accept food offerings while it's down. Instead, a survivor trying to get hold of one will have to restrain the beast, and pacify it while it remains completely sober.

DOMESTICATED
Torvosaurus' smooth gait and long body provide easy riding for a host of passengers. Its stretchy throat pouch even allows it to carry and protect a survivor in its mouth. Those that favor this method say it's the safest they've ever felt, but I couldn't do it. What if the dinosaur gets hungry?
