Petition for streaming Cyborg 009 on American websites . This is American only because they block them from other countries. Petition for releasing Cyborg 009 on DVD . I know several of you have merchandise you import or get someway from America, where ever this DVD is released, I must ask you to do that again.===END EDIT
Well, this is part of my answer to the question of the week over at Anime News Network . The question is:
"What old series/movie are you interested in that the new crop of fans is completely uninterested in? Why do you think that is? What steps would you take to reverse it."

Well, I don't think I need to tell you what series I enjoy XD
Seriously, this show had a prime place to gain a following, the Toonami block on weekdays in the 2000's was THE PLACE for animation. But, it didn't garner enough favor to appease the rating gods and it was banished to like 4:30am. What is more disheartening is the series never ran its course in broadcast, missing the last 4 episodes, and we cannot even view it through other means like a streaming site or DVDs.
It just makes me sad.
I wish, I could petition streaming sites to run the series in full, that would be a dream, though, I am unsure how to go about doing that.

4kids is the devil and they need to be taken down. Cartoon Network needs to go back to their old ways. These shows they have for kids nowadays looks like the writers and artists were all on crack when they came up with it.
I don't like Joe, he's too emo. And Jet...is Jet. Besides he was based around my favorite era.

I still remember watching the very first episode. My older brother and I were so hyped when it first premiered on Toonami because just looked so awesome...and naturally, the commercials were right...it was awesome.

I REALLY want it on DVD. My time slot meant that I could only watch half of it when I got home from school >__< I remember faking sickness to watch it. I haven't watched it in over 7 years.

It was recently confirmed by a Sony rep that Cyborg 009 is suffering from the ever-present scourge of anime known as 'music rights issues'.
Personally, if the ditched the intro and outro to make it work, I would not shed a tear: at this point, I'll take what I can get.

I watched it all in Korean as well,but I really prefer the Enlgish voices. :^(
I have the whole series in japanese,
but the subtitles are so outdated,and they miss out on so many words its confusing and a pain to read.

I guess it was just as similar as the Japanese version
but 002's korean voice was so similiar to the english one it was awesome.
They are so confusing yeah. ;~; Hopefully they make the english ones out on dvd.
I loved all their voices in English baw.
