“She looks pretty cool right?” Reina walked Chance in a circle, her deep red pad and boots contrasting beautifully in the snow. The mare’s bridle had been fitted with a new browband and noseband that were both adorned with coin-like silver pieces. Each one had a different animal engraved in it. Personally, she’d probably only ever use them again for casual trail rides, but it really helped add to the ‘viking’ feel. Her half pad and sheep skin slip had been altered with some faux fur. She had to thank Rodderick for the help altering them. She’d assumed a guy like him would read, watch movies or even sleep on the 11 hour plane ride. But no, Rodderick spent his waking hours on the plane sewing.
“Just pretty cool?” Rodderick crossed his arms with a smirk. With sunglasses he looked a lot more serious as a trainer.
“Okay, she looks the coolest.” Reina smiled back. She slipped on her sunglasses. Chance didn’t care so much for her look, but more for the fact she got ro run around in the snow. Northern Georgia got snow almost yearly, but not this much snow. She pawed at the ground just to watch the fine powder fly in different directions as the wind carried it away.
“When you’re done with the course we’ll be waiting for you with a warm blankets for the both of you and something hot to drink.” Lucielle piped up, walking alongside her friend as they made their way towards the start of the course.
    “Awwh, that’s so sweet. Thanks Luci.”
“Well, yeah, you're welcome. But I feel that if I didn’t, you’d freeze to death. Seeing as you think rolling around in the snow is good for your health.” Lucielle chuckled.
“It isn’t?” Reina grinned. “Oh my gosh! I just realized.” She brought Chance to a halt. “We’ll be dashing… THROUGH THE SNOW. HOLY CRAP.”
The other two had continued walking and only stopped to roll their eyes and groan in unison.

I'm about to try to fit in one more entry before the deadline, WHICH IS THE 10TH OF MARCH!

For once I typed out the whole story beforehand instead of staring at the submission page for an hour spitting out word vomit
I'm really proud of this whole thing. I've been drawing a lot of green and fall themed backgrounds lately so this was a nice break.
