Description
The featherweight potion is one of the more curious concoctions to be found within the alchemist's recipe book. One of those particular mixtures that requires both a fine knowledge of natural chemical processes and the spellcasting proficiency needed to infuse the arcane into a potion in the middle of its brewing, the ability to create such an elixir tends to be a rare talent in high demand across the realms. Each potion is a precious commodity, even in small quantities, making the procurement of one better left for more specialized occasions rather than everyday labor.

Thus it should be no surprise that you are more likely to find such brews in the possession of a particular sort of thief than the common dockworker. The featherweight potion combines alchemy and enchantment to infuse its imbiber with a powerful, anti-gravitic aura, allowing them not only to leap to greater heights than would normally be possible, but to lift objects of great weight as though weighing little more than a feather. While there is no doubt that less unsavory applications of featherweight potions are to be found, the ability to scale tall walls and make off with particularly heavy and valuable objects makes such tinctures a prize possession for those in the criminal underworld.

Forth Octummber Day 18's prompt, "Spill", I was inspired by another storyline from my Curse of the Lipomancer interactive. This one features the feline rogue Mimi, who I've never really drawn before till now, though I wouldn't take this as her finalized design, just something I wanted to play with for fun. Though the actual context for the cause of Mimi's rather shockingly obese body can be found a few chapters further back. Ever since I wrote this ending for her, I thought it would be fun to illustrate it, and the prompt "Spill" gave me the perfect opportunity. Poor Mimi, if only she were more careful with her precious featherweight potion...
