Fortunate for us all, then, that the greatest sin of these highly advanced yet decadent civilizations is unlikely to be repeated. Thanks to both strict laws within most lands and the fact that the opening of interdimensional portals becomes more difficult the less mundane the targeted plane is we are unlikely to ever see a calamity on such a scale again.

Nevertheless, travel to and from planes similar to ours, while forbidden under most circumstances, is still possible. There exist many tales in folklore of strange travellers and beasts said to be from other planes appearing across the world. In the opinion of this humble author however, the explanation behind many of these fantasies can simply be put down to the teller having had too much to drink during their supposedly extraordinary encounters.

The prompt for day 12 of Octummber2k20 is "Gooey", so of course I had to involve some more slime inflation bullshit.

Here we see poor Johanna back already, struggling against a strange new foe that may be all too familiar to anyone who follows me. Something tells me that even a warrior as strong as Johanna may have bitten off more than she can chew with this one...
