Description
A closer look at the lower part of the Fulmer Falls in Pennsylvania, taken about a month ago.This shot won first place in "Frozen Waterfalls" contest - Thank You.

I find winter falls fascinating and fun. You've wonderful shades of color in the ice here along with a feeling of both frozen time and eternal movement.

its nice seeing the colours in this... i once saw rolf harris draw a snow scene, and he said about how snow isnt actually white because of the light. this is exactly like that, its green and aqua and turquoise, not white at all
if you ever come to Great Britain i think you should go see High Force. I saw it in the winter and it was the first time i'd seen icicles like this, so it was probably more impressive for me than it would be for you, but i remember it being a nice walk and quite an impressive waterfall
