Description ... well, no, not a teapot, but an owl

Another photo taken at VINS in Vermont, [link] , "A non-profit organization devoted to education and research designed to engage individuals and communities in the care of their environment."

I think it is a Northern Saw-whet Owl, the adult is barely larger than a man's fist.
