thinking I would in fact add some tanks and vehicles to this project so long as they are fueled by an alternative to petrol or diesel, here we have Big Lizzy the personal "Landship" of the cavalier royal family, hence why it is painted red, as a symbol of pride and honour in battle like that of Victorian redcoats. vehicles like this are hard to come by in the resource scarce world of protect and survive, but thanks to coal gasifiers ( as used by the Germans in ww2 when faced with fuel shortages) Landships, cars, trucks and motorcycles are available at varying degrees of quality to high ranking warlords and well to do merchants of the Blight.
big Lizzy is a Centurion MK 7 converted to run on the gasifier process, it is used by the royal family of the cavaliers when leading their knights to battle, and is a patriotic symbol of the kingdom, seen in many parades through the lea valley Burroughs.
converted pre war tanks such as this one are super rare as the large bulk of the British armies tank corps was overseas in west Germany at the time of the war, but a few still linger around the blight waiting to be converted and bought up by powerful post apocalyptic warlords looking to exercise an imposing display of power
