Yes. Right click on the skin -> Edit Skin. In the [Variables] section at the top of the skin file, look for this:

;---choose measures for triangle bars and center ring (Advanced mode only)
LeftBar=
RightBar=
CenterBar=
CenterCircle=

The acceptable values for these are CPU, RAM, Batt, Drive, and Temp (Batt is battery, drive is hard drive space, and temp is CPU temperature from the program CoreTemp).

how to change font in entire skin?...changed fname, only worked on small text

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

injust29 In reply to coldanduglysecrets [2013-02-16 17:22:14 +0000 UTC]

If you change the variable "fname" to another valid font name installed on your computer (i.e. "Arial"), then Refresh the skin, it will change the font on the entire skin. I can't imagine any fathomable reason why this would only affect some of the text and not all of it, since I know how the skin was coded and unless you manually modified the skin, it will work.

Can you tell me what modifications you've made, and what your operating system and Rainmeter version are?

Thanx for the reply...All I really did was half the size and tried to replace the font to optimus princeps. (because thats what c&c use in logo)Awesome skin though...Win7 Ult 64bit, and 2.4 I believe...

injust29 In reply to coldanduglysecrets [2013-02-20 00:12:27 +0000 UTC]

You should be able to drop the font file into Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\CoheedClock\@Resources\Fonts and then edit the skin so that fname="OptimusPrinceps"

I just tested it out myself and it works perfectly.

P.S. Optimus Princeps is very close to the Coheed font (and free), but the actual font used is the commercial font Trajan Pro. For the purposes of this skin though, Optimus Princeps is a better choice and able to be freely distributed.

Can you make something like this for android as an widget?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

RainOfRevival In reply to RainOfRevival [2013-01-16 22:28:39 +0000 UTC]

You can use UCCW for android and create it, if you use android anyway ... i'm trying to do one myself but i'm not shure I can pull it off...

injust29 In reply to RainOfRevival [2013-01-16 21:56:32 +0000 UTC]

I've been suggested this several times, but doing research on my own I haven't found any simple way to port it to Android, short of building an app from scratch. If you can figure out the best way to do it, I'll take a look and consider it.

Awesome skin. How do you change the temp?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

injust29 In reply to GhettoSmurf187 [2012-11-29 22:23:24 +0000 UTC]

Temp is read using the program CoreTemp which you must have running in the background. An alternative would be SpeedFan, and it should be relatively easy to modify the temp measure in code for that.

Ahh yes this skin is just what i needed for my little desktop project!
Is it possible to edit it so it aways shows the numbers, and not only when i mouse-over?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

injust29 In reply to Viktorcina [2012-11-29 23:10:22 +0000 UTC]

To make the numbers always show, go through all of the meters in the LABELS section [LabelSmall1], [LabelMain2], etc... and remove the line "Hidden=1". Then also find the meter [HoverToggle] and completely remove it and all of its parameters.

Any help...? Perhaps a .zip version?

injust29 In reply to DarkNoctus [2012-11-29 03:47:17 +0000 UTC]

This is almost always caused by an incompatibility with your version of Rainmeter. Make sure you are updated to the latest version (2.4 Final r1678), then try again.

Anyway to change the size?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

injust29 In reply to DoctorChase [2012-10-30 19:23:31 +0000 UTC]

Right click on the clock and select Edit Skin.

In the skin file, the first section is [Rainmeter], and the second section is [Variables], which is where all the of the skin options can be changed. Find:

[Variables]
;---adjust size to scale the entire clock
size=1.0

And change the size variable to any value to adjust the size. For example, setting it to 0.5 will make the clock half the size.

Read through all of the other comments in the Variables section to find other options that you may wish to tweak.

injust29 In reply to SecCreepy [2012-08-27 00:19:48 +0000 UTC]

First, if you haven't already, install Rainmeter [link] . Next, download this file, and open the file (*.rmskin) and Rainmeter will ask you if you want to install the skin. If you want to use the Core Temp feature of the skin, you will also need to download and install CoreTemp [link] . To customize the skin, right-click on it once it's loaded and click Edit Skin. Read through all the comments in the code (prefixed with a semicolon ";") and make adjustments as you see fit. Let me know if you have any further questions.

How do you change the time zone? It's an hour slow for me.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

injust29 In reply to fade2BLACK205 [2012-08-11 23:34:40 +0000 UTC]

It should be grabbing your system time, so if it's an hour slow, then your local system time on your computer is also an hour slow. Else, you can mess with the code to try to adjust.

Find in the code:

[mHour]
Measure=Time
Format=%I
[mHour24]
Measure=Time
Format=%H

And add:

TimeZone=-6.0
DaylightSavingTime=1

within each of those two measures. Obviously adjust the value for the TimeZone and DST depending on your locale. US Central Standard Time is -6.0, for example.

Do you have Rainmeter installed? And are *.rmskin files associated with Rainmeter?

If you are still having issues, right click on the file -> Open with any archive tool (winzip, winrar, 7zip), and extract the included files to C:\Users\[Username]\My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins, paying attention to the folder structure.
