Oh man that would be so cool. *o* They already do some variations for genders, shinies, location, and costumes (for Pikachu anyways), so it feels like that wouldn't be a stretch, though incorporating the concepts of artists outside of the company would be...messy. If I remember correctly they do have a place for suggestions, though anything used goes uncredited and copyrighted to the company. And I would be delighted if breeding different species resulted in physical variations in the offspring rather than just being the same species of one parent. :>

And yuuss I would love it! Imagine the combinations, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch even if it was just colours that changed and not physical attributes!! Like if you bred a combee with a butterfree (dont even know if thats possible haha) the butterfree would have honeycomb patterns on its wings instead of the usual butterfly wing veins or be golden brown oh maaaan
