Description
This is what I've been working on for a few months now.
I thought I'd have more by now so I held off, but oh well. I plan on drawing every hyena from every cartoon that I can think of (or anyone knows) to group them into a collection. Just to show hyenas aren't as obscure in cartoons as people think. 
Some designs, such as Giggles, actually made me smile.
Not too often you see a hyena with his coloration. Then there's Rufus, one of the strangest ones I've ever seen. 
There's not many here for now, but that'll change as I draw and color more, and they will be added to the list. If you know of any, please let me know! HYENAS

There was a striped hyena in Italian series titled "Simba: The King Lion".
His name is Curdi if I heard itΒ correctly.

In addition, that there was a striped hyena in the sequels of "Simba: The King Lion." In "Simba Jr. Soccer Team," to "Winner and the Golden Child," his named changed, from "Curdi," to "Fagin." The name "Fagin" is not often confused with Mr. Fagin from "Walt Disney's Oliver and Company", and Fagin the black vulture from the Swedish animated movie, "War of the Birds."

I like #4 on the middle, which this was Tabaqui! Some think that he's jackal, and some others think that he'sΒ a hyena.

Wait a minute! Shonen Jump did make the jackals the wrong version, which the jackals did strongly resembled striped hyenas. And then the hyenas were called in this series as ,"jackals." In which the real Tabaqui is a jackal, while Shonen Jump's Tabaqui is a hyena, but his kinfolk were called "jackals." Oh well...

But, I found out that Tabaqui is a hyena, which his species's name was revealed, and better than the hyena version of the jackals from Shonen Mowgli, well because of the show Simba The King Lion. It makes differences!

You don't really see many hyenas as heroic or even as the main character much, they're usually the villains or just for comic relief.
