Description
/End inbox spammageTook the afternoon to myself to finish off this little piece...it's been sitting on my computer unfinished for YEARS!
Many Asian cultures feature the rabbit in the moon, and also fox spirits. I've always thought that rabbit must drive the fox spirits CRAZY.
Originally, it had no blossoms, but after attending the Sakura Matsuri, there needed to be cherry blossoms.

What a great story. You know I wouldn't be surprised to hear that in an 'official' mythos.

There's something similar in Nordic mythology...you know, the twin wolves that chase the moon and the sun.

I have to agree. That rabbit must indeed drive fox spirits nuts. XD
