Description That's part of a line from a bunch of Lupin III novelties (Let's moving action in the world! And catch you, Lupin!!) that hang in the bathroom at HTF Studios.

These are a couple of action thumbs from scenes that I'm putting into the Bibliotech short... they are NOT meant to be concurrent and this is not a page... but I thought they went well together and didn't want to clutter up my gallery any more that it is already. These images will eventually (probably) be added to the layout on their respective pages though, so I'll do the finished pencils over these. I like the motion in 'em, but I'm still having a time with sound effects. Whaddya think of her slide sound effect and how it lays out on the page?

That is, by the way, the same cat who is tossing a bomb on another sketch page, now getting shot to fuck-all by the newly discovered Potemkin House. I'm so rough on my "actors"...

Well... "Bibliotec" or a word close to it is Italian/French/Latin/Spanish for " library". And the search for knowledge and history is a major them in the series, and a major theme of the main character.

So, "Bibliotech" is a little twist which also has significance in the series because there is a anachronistic blend of technology, and the reasons behind that are also a major theme of the story.

Ok, so I'm totally loving all the Bibliotech stuff, but I have to ask....where exactly did you pick up the word "bibliotech"? Sorry if you have answered that before, or if it's really blatently obvious and I'm just too tired to get it, but it's such an interesting word...

thats the only prob i got with yer stuff man...... you got a cool style and everything, but it seems like when you put down the finished pencils or inks you seem to lose a lot of the uhhmph that yer sketches have.

anyway i love these 2....... drawings!! so much energy and movement! fav!

This is a common thing, I think... I've noticed a lot of artists like Adam Warren or Joe Mad, who's artwork is already beautifully kinetic, but then you see the pencils and it's even more so!

I may be pulling a trick with these on the final images, though... something to retain all that kinetic motion. Well see if it works!
