Description A couple of illustrations created for the Kenzer & Co. module, Crypt of the Lizard King. Both depict "encounter scenarios" that the players might be faced with during their adventures... the evil cleric Mordrin intimidating a couple of merchants, and a mysterious knight sleeping beneath a oak tree split by lightning.

Yeah, I know, I oughtta be beaten for that white stroke in the left illustration. It's terrible, I have no excuse for crapping out on the background, have mercy upon me.

Just the same, I like the characters themselves.

Ink on Bristol, drawn at about the end of 2003, so it's not that old... (c)Kenzer & Co.

Hah, you are very far from suck at backgrounds. I like the split tree, with the moss growing on it? That's moss? If it is...shouldn't it only be growing on one side of the tree or something? It only grows on the west side of trees or whatever it is... I like em....simple but ornately decorated costumes... I really like the texture of the warrior who's laying down's clothing...really nice.
