In exchange for free lessons from him, I've promised to teach any other artists anything I can help them with. I think that is an amazing deal.
This is a new color palette and technique for me. I will be doing lots of little studies.

This is an incredible composition. The lips look very much like the paintings done by the Pre-Raphaelites. But the pose and the expression looks like a painting that I saw of a young boy that I can place the artist at the moment. Great job!

I've been getting so bored with pieces that study the beauty of the entire female form, ie: nudes. It's so refreshing to see something focused on the beauty of the female face, especially when done so skillfully and traditionally.

It's strange that... while obviously this is a charming face... amidst all the simplicity... I found myself staring for quite a while. It's how the light embraces her, and how her eyes are so gravitational. My attention drowsily shifts from the straight edge of her nose, the plushness to the lips... and back to those deep, conscious wells.
