SOooooThis is late to come around, I just finally decided to uploaded this to my DeviantArt now since I wanted to give my Youtube channel an upload first before here. ;v;; Or I was just being lazy, either way it's a excuse. ><
SPOILERS
After watching the last episodes of my little pony, my inspiration started to pump ideas like crazy; I've had a couple of these ideas before but never really did them because I wasn't completely sure if it was canon or not.
But after the very last scene, it made me almost sad to not only see the show end but what will happen to our beloved characters afterwards. Since I saw that Twilight Sparkle didn't seemed to age a day expect for growing taller and gaining an alicorn goddess like body unlike the others. Who have grown older.
The fact that Twilight is who she is now, makes it canon that she has to be a immortal. Unlike her friends who aged and are completely mortal by her side. Twilight will watch and see how her friends will soon pass on. Everyone she knew including the CMC, the young six, not forgetting her own family, she'll outlive them all.
Only having Cadence, Celestia, Luna and possibly Flurry Heart to be with, forever. Spike will likely be the one to either live forever next to her and someday have to pass on himself depending on what a dragon's lifeline is. <3
It's almost cruel since Twilight didn't really want or consent to becoming an immortal alicorn, she only completed Starswirls spell, Princess Celestia sang a song saying how far she has come and Twilight gaining her wings afterwards without a word from her the whole time.
Anyways, these are my thoughts anyways. It just sounds all very depressing since the show in the end barely explained anything else to us about Twilight or what could happen. ;v;;

The truth is that there was a lot of controversy among the fans when they saw that in the future, Twilight's friends were of legal age, but Twilight has no sign of old age other than having Celestia's proportions, which makes them furious believing it was a lie what Megan Mcarthy said that Twilight would not survive her friends.
But being honest, I doubt that much. I see that it is normal for the long time that has passed more or less 20 years, I see that it is normal for Twilight to have reached the same proportions as Celestia, I think Cadence would also be the same size, I think those proportions are part of the growth of an alicorn, apart, we must take into account that Celestia and Luna existed BEFORE Equestria existed, if they were already immortal for some other reason, I doubt that Twilight is also just because now Equestria rules, also, in the castle we saw a showcase where we see Flurry Heart becoming the new ruler of the crystal empire, so that was not a job that her mother would do forever.
In addition, we have seen the other princesses normally grow old, when we met Cadence, we saw her as a teenager when she looked after Twilight and currently as an adult, and we saw an adult Flurry Heart in the showcase, seeing that she also ages normal if, like Cake twins, this baby passed into adulthood.
If Twilight really was immortal, instead of growing up it should be the same alicorn of the last 6 seasons, because part of immortality is supposed to never grow old, or take several decades or centuries to change a little, causing One is young at the age when a mortal is old.
In addition, it would sound stupid for the writers to withdraw what Megan said about Twilight, in any long-lived show we all know that it is stupid to change the canopy and the first thing written is always the extra official.
