Description
Another, another collab drawing that I filled in with colour and very detailed shading.
I draw the background based on the MLP:FIM season 6, episode 25 and 26. The picture being Chrysalis so I couldn't resist doing it straight away, giving the drawing a lot more detail and the collaboration in general gave me a LOT of practice on light, shading and background and it was extremely fun. ^^ I really hope you like it Kokki. ^-^ It was so, so amazing to draw in your lineart. <33

Beautiful drawing! The anatomy is on-point, and the textures come out as clean and pretty to look at. The cool and warm colors mixed together makes a good effect.
The shading and lighting is a little off. If the sun is directly behind Chrysalis there shouldn't be highlights on the hair, instead put light behind the hair or around the edges and then shade from there.
The eyes are too close to the muzzle, if you want to draw a more realistic pony i'd say you would place the eyes higher, but Chrysalis' eyes look exactly like that in the show so good job.
tbh I don't really watch My Little Pony, if anything for animation I watch more Gravity Falls and Steven Universe. But this is some amazing fan art. Good job!!

Thank you so much for the critique. ^-^ Yet the outline I didn't do myself, I did the colouring and shading for the drawing's outline. Now I know that I can improve on my shading and lighting placement.
