Description
Honestly there's so many screenshots I could take and observe. I feel like because GM loved the show so much, he clearly put as much effort, including the attention to detail, as he could into the show. This one's from House Party.Popular belief among the fanbase is that if Shannon isn't "a bitch" (smh), then she's incredibly insecure and just trying to fit in - essentially, following the popular girls like a puppy. Honestly, I can relate. I used to do that back in the day - in middle school, even. It's not unusual for girls - and boys, too - to try to conform in every way possible.
Notice how she's completely blocked by them, having to peek over? Maybe it's just me over-analyzing, but it really seems like the girls don't actually care about Shannon, but carry her around out of pity. For the most part, it seems like they ignore her.
I really do think Greg had something big going for Shannon, but we never got to see it. It's little details like this.

I LOVE this episode! There was so much shit in it that I liked such as the interaction between Robot and Grampz and Robot and Shannon's brief moment together just *mwah*

Aside from the fact that we see the more obviously insecure Shannon we see here in this episode, this one just worked out so well. In real life, kids will just hang out with each other and not really like each other, or letting one kid hang out just because they feel sorry for them, and I get that vibe from Shannon here--the girls constantly pity her because of Robot's dogging.
That's not over-analyzing anything. Episodes like this make it quite obvious, and I don't know why more people don't see it--oh yeah, because they're looking for excuses to hate this show.

I really liked the way RJ and Shannon interacted in House Party. It felt a little rushed, but then again, they were 10 minute segments each.
If they're not making excuses to hate the show, they're making excuses to say that the show was just a silly pointless cartoon.
