Erm… I dunno. Black Lemonade is creative, but out of Squidward’s nose? That’s Season 11’s first and only STE. It’s a Pat(p)rick episode too. HOWEVER, There are more positives than negatives and I actually enjoyed the haunted area scene as well. In that case, I think this is a decent episode.

I kind of liked this episode as well. I'm not saying it's great, but I did find some stuff enjoyable, most notably, the haunted house scene. I think that scene was where the creativity was cranked up.

I find this episode pretty meh (I'm sure you already know that.), mostly because it's just the same gag...over...and over...and over again with little to no variation. Now usually for this series, especially Season 11, the facial expressions work, mostly because of variation, but here, it just didn't do it for me. I think everyone's in-character and all that jazz, but I just found it boring and not that funny and unlike others, I really wanted to like this one. It's a good premise, but it just teeters off way too much in the meh area.

I can definitely see why this episode can be really enjoyable to some. But I do have one question.
What is your opinion on Patrick's behaviour in the episode, and Squidward getting "tortured" since those turned a lot of people away from the episode.

I enjoyed Patrick's childlike role here as he is funny with the number of scares he's done on Squidward. As for the cruelty, the same thing with Patrick's behavior where I think it's done in a funny way.

Ah. So Patrick is justified because he is portrayed as childlike and it's really funny, and you find what happens to Squidward to also be really funny. I guess that makes sense. Thanks for clearing it up!

SpongeBob Double Digits ScorecardStarting with the double-digit seasons of "SpongeBob", some of the crew who worked on "Ren and Stimpy" joined, presumably to breathe more life into the show. Overall, I think these newest episodes are mostly a lot better than seasons 4-9, in fact, even beating out some episodes from the first three seasons.
