One of my favorite cartoons, Doug, is sadly obsolete (Just another example of how I'm getting old). Doug is marked by a very heavy early 90's vibe, so in my boredom between classes I did a sketch of what he and his friends might look like in 2006. By the way, did Doug ever get the girl in the end?Doug and his friends copyright Nickelodeon.

I miss Doug, I watched it when I was really little, but I loved it. I'd love to see a box set.
Also, I thought Doug was like 14, because in the last episode he goes onto highschool... I think.

Yea, I don't know why there's no Doug on DVD yet...I think it has something to do with Disney still owning the rights, but I can't be sure. And I agree...Doug does rule

Doug's supposed to be 11 1/2, but I always thought he looked older, like 14 to 16-ish

I've never seen the last ep (from Disney), but from what I hear, I think they (DougxPatti) DID get together in the end... or at least, she asked him out on a 'datedate' lol

We must be on this really, really strange wavelength but I was just thinking heavily about Doug the other day.
He seemed to be 12 forever, he carried that torch or Pattie Mayonese, he went in emotional circles (high, creative and or opprotunity), depressed and back again. I was actually gonna write a Bob Dylan-esque song about Doug while in-line yesterday at the Tyler Perry signing but I scapped the idea for the thought of getting flamed on the DistrictAttourney.com (my nickname for DeviantArt) would not be appriecated.
No doubt about its probably the most surreal peice I've seen you post her and I'm a big fan of surrealism.
The way the figures stand is pretty darn neat, but the thing I notice most is where the hands are positioned; for instance Skeeter looks awfully apprehensive to what's in his pocket.
Its things like that that make me think!

Yes, I vaugly remember watching Doug, though I can't actually recall that much about it.
