Description
Here is a picture of the cake topper with and right before the cake cutting. Figured what better way to do a comparison then to post a picture with them in the shot.

The idea actually came from Ginny's mom sometime last summer since they were trying to have a semi traditional wedding but include aspects of their cosplay/nerd hobbies. They wanted to have both of them dressed in their wedding attire but "cosplaying" Nami and Sanji from the anime One Piece.

[Details]
- Took roughly 60 to 70 hours to create.
- Both started as a simple wire structure built up with aluminum foil and masking tape.
- Used a mix of sculpey, fimo and super sculpey.
- It stands at just under 7" and weighs between 1/2 and 3/4 of a pound.
- It was painted using Liquidtex paint including all of the "beading" and swirly details.
