Description
Took forever to actually get photos of these and post them.These are the 2 keyblades Oblivion and Way to Dawn, commissions by for her Riku cosplay.
Oblivion is made of 1/2" birch plywood shaped with additional details made out 1/4" aspen or crayola model magic.
Way to Dawn is made straight from 3/4" birch plywood completely shaped using a dremel.

I'm trying to make one right now 
...but the dremel I bought was a dud and my jig saw died... LOL it seems the goods of cosplay do not want me to finish
oh well, I have a half finished keyblade to start up when I get the proper tools again

Aw man sucks to hear that. I've found with dremels you really have to listen to it as you go because its pretty easy to overtax them and blow the motor on it (guilty of that one myself).
Good luck on getting it finished, hopefully your luck turns around.

I completely love your Way To The Dawn, and you've inspired me to remake the one I've been working on in this style. Do you have any helpful tips or ideas I could use? Oh yeah, Oblivion is awesome looking too ^^

Thanks! For the Way To Dawn its all out of one solid piece using a rotozip and dremel to do all of the cutting and shaping. The Oblivion was done along the same lines except I used crayola model magic to do some sculpting on it. For the handle it works great though I would suggest using something a bit harder for any other details. Also the shields and those strips along the inside slot are separate pieces added on towards the end.

Its the way the silver paint showed up in that type of lighting. Between that and the shiny topcoat used it appears lighter in photos.

Too small. it should be way bigger. Also the Color is all right, everyone knows that you have to take artistic license with these kinda things. Plus were the fuck is the signature???? I hope they came with a signed pic for fapping on.

Actually it came with 2 pics for fapping. One with and without the nose shooped off.
