Description
Harpies live in a land far from Equestria and live in small communities both in the sky and on the ground. Like pegasi and other flying creatures Harpies and walk on clouds and manipulate them like clay. Though they can manipulate clouds very few Harpies actually choose to live among the clouds. Most have terrestrial nests.

Harpies are small and their size is comparable to a young Alicorn like Princess Luna. Young harpies are naturally pranksters and mischievous. Often annoying adults with petty pranks and jokes. As they grow older they grow more serious and the wisest and oldest are tribal leaders. They are a deeply spiritual race and believe all life is connected and must be respected.

Their diet consist of mostly fish and insects which they catch with pin-point precision with their keen eyesight. But they have been known to catch land animals if they can. But their small stature prevents anything larger than a pig to be carried while they fly.
