(This takes place after A Canterlot Wedding)

Celestia sat alone in her room, the only light was Luna's moon. Try as she might she could not put her mind at ease, the day's events caused old memories to resurface. Ones from when she was young, relatively of course. They were happier times, before she was the ruler she was today. Long before Discord, Sombra, Tirek and... Nightmare moon. A small... rare smile graced her lips as one memory replayed in her mind.

It was a beautiful day, perfect by any standard. Three young alicorns ran through a large field, a massive castle in the distance. Bits and pieces of the structure still under construction. The three giggled as they rushed through a flower bed, peddles flying up in the air and gently floating down. The oldest, who had a flowing pink mane was ahead of them. She turned wildly as the younger two tried as hard as they could to keep up. "We're going to get you sister." The little blue one said. She let out a joyous laugh as she gained on her sibling. Suddenly the smallest and youngest fell, and the two elder alicorns stopped in their tracks. The quickly trotted to their fallen friend to see if she was okay, " Are you okay." The eldest asked with concern, only to sigh in relief a second later as they heard a laugh and a pair of green eyes looked up to the oldest. " I'm okay... Tia." The young mare laughed again.
