For anyone who doesn't know, Queen Haydon is from the MLP comics. Specifically in "Fiendship is Magic #2, which is the backstory to Tirek. She is Tirek's mother, (odd, I know) and a Gargoyle (at least that's what the Wiki says)Anyway, :siansaar.deviantart.com/ : made a few drawing's of her, one was just a simple sketch, I took the sketch and fleshed it out. And I have his permission to post it.

I enjoyed Tireks comic. The troubled relationship with his parents, and the dire contrast between them. Where one was loving, the other was a bastard.

Yeah. But I don't think that Tirek's father is a complete bastard, I think he's just unsure about what to do with his son. Is he a jerk? Yeah he is, but I think he's just to set in his ways. Like a super religious father finding out his son is gay and now he's confused and embarrassed.
But I think that if he and his son had a real heart-to-heart then maybe they could figure things out. Maybe Tirek wouldn't have went down a dark path if they had.
