This pic [link] by got me all inspired, so if I can make the deadline, I'll be submitting a piece to her newest project, "Silly Love Songs". More on that as the actual submission gets done. For starters, these are some sketches just to get me back in the swing of drawing in this style, plus designing the costumes.

The musical I've chosen is "Wicked", if you couldn't tell by the names (my handwriting's pretty bad, so I don't blame you if you couldn't tell ^_^).

The thing that makes me happiest about this sketch is that I FINALLY got a design down for RJ Racoon (of Over the Hedge fame) that I like!! It took about a year and a dozen failed attempts that are too terrible to ever see the light of day, but I like this design! And he fits perfectly as Fiyero, as well because, come on - who knows about taking the easy way out better than RJ? ^_^

For Elphaba, I really wasn't sure and started sketching with a nameless cat character in mind, who then morphed into Tammy Squirrel, who had a one-shot guest role on an episode of Resque Rangers and who I enjoyed for her spunk.
