Just something I whipped up to use as a cover for my story over on fimfiction! Done pretty quickly, and without my kneaded eraser (which I couldn't find) so the line art isn't nearly as crisp as I normally like it, but I think it gets the idea across!Related content

This is a delightful little story, so naturally its cover should prove to be equally delightful. I can see the speed marks of how it was made, I s'pose, but a lot of those traits, in particular the scratchy outlines, actually wind up adding to the charm and personality of the piece; it almost reminds me of the "xerox" style Disney used in its movies during the 60's and 70's in just the nicest way. ^_^ The whole scene is so nicely set, too; Fluttershy's patient smile combined with Discord's melodramatics capture the core of the story's opening chapter perfectly, and the background is very nice, adding a nice sense of depth to the whole thing. Excellent work.

Haha, I really do kind of wish I'd rushed a little less, but it serves its purpose.
I can't take credit for the background though - I thought I had given credit in the description, but it looks like I forgot! Ooops! It's just a screengrab from the show with a filter. As I said, this was pretty slapdash. I'd like to add a background to the "It'll Be Ok" pic, and for that one, I'll try my hand at doing it on my own.

And ah, I see! I stand by my comment, though, as the layering effect caused by the separation of screenshot and illustration contributes to that sense of dimension I was talking about.
