It really depends!
In the English version of the show and manga, I do believe they call Crona a boy, using pronouns such as "He" and "His"
However, I'm pretty sure that in the Japanese version, they call Crona a girl, but I don't speak Japanese, and one can't be too sure about subtitle translations!
Please, don't take my word for it, because I'm not an expert, and I'm not entirely sure, but I hope I shed a little light onto your question. :3
