I've read through the whole manga. Not once is it actually confirmed that Crona is a female, not even by Medusa; the characters just assume to call Crona a girl.

I've never been quite sure, because in the Japanese version, apparently they call him he.
And I've heard his voice, so Crona sounds like a guy, but I really don't have an opinion, so I'll go with whatever the person I'm talking to prefers.

Peace is a great thing - but I always get pulled into the middle of battles. Don't know why! Everyone who does know knows that I have pretty much no opinion.
And I've never minded yaoi or yuri, 'cos I mean, it's always gonna happen, but with Crona, I don't think that people can make up their minds.
Which is another reason that I like to keep Crona genderless.
I mean, I don't like to pair him with Maka, because I usually stick to one pairing per person (Maka and Soul are perfect for each other in my book X3), but it IS kind of funny to imagine him in a cutesy little pink tutu, right?
Ah, but I suppose that's what gender-bending's for.
I've never actually tried to picture a female (or male for that matter) Crona with Death the Kid because I really don't think they had any... interaction(?) in the show. That might just be me though, because I didn't get to watch very much of it.

Yes, let them fight and we can sit back and watch, because we already know what we believe, and nobody can just change that.
Pairings seem almost lost on me unless they're practically cannon. (Is that how you spell it? 'Cos I dunno)
But like if you can totally TELL that one character digs another, then I suppose I don't mind the pairing, but only as long as it makes sense.
I see Maka as a... mother figure to Crona. You know, because Medusa really wasn't that great of a mom, and Crona needs somebody to rely on.
