Chapter VIII – When Time Stopped.

It is now midnight and Tak had fallen asleep on the couch after daydreaming Zim a little too much.
Back at Zim’s medical lab he was busy stitching & wrapping himself with bandages, so many things running through his mind over Tak.
“It’s nice being with Tak recently, but I wonder.” He thought to himself, very curiously.
He was wondering of the recent feelings he’s having for her, a feeling he never had for a certain person till now.
His entire life was only out for himself and his missions but recently ever since she came, things had changed.
“I just don’t get it, is this really what they call love, a feeling for someone where you want to be with them forever no matter what?” he kept asking himself.
Zim was so confused on what to do, he never felt so uncertain ever in his life.
He decided to head back to Tak.

Meanwhile Tak was still on the couch, daydreaming about the thoughts of her & Zim together being, she finally decided that it might be time to confess her feelings.

As Zim was coming back, she began to start getting nervous, wondering if he may love her too.
She was so lost in thoughts that she didn’t notice that Zim already came back from the elevator and was right behind her.
“Eh Tak?” he whispered out, which made her jumped from the couch.
“Oh sorry Zim, I didn’t notice you here.” She said slightly embarrassed.
“It’s ok.” He said and then sat right beside her.
Both of them started to get nervous again, being quiet around another with the same thoughts, if the other would feel the same.
After a couple of minutes Tak broke the silence and started to scoot a little to Zim.
“Zim can I ask you something?” she asked him, not looking him eye to eye.
Zim also scoot a little close to her, getting anticipated on what she was going to ask.
“Sure Tak, anything.” He said in a very curious tone.
Tak took a deep breath and then finally continued.
“Have you been feeling strange recently Zim?” she asked then took a glimpse of him.
Zim’s antennas rose up with concern.
“And what you mean by that Tak.” He asked in concern.
“A strange feeling whenether your around someone you know, a feeling of butterflies in your stomach where you want to stay with that certain someone for the rest of your life no matter the cost.” She took a deep breath again after asking that.
Zim was trying to sort out if those feelings if there were the same feelings he’s been having for Tak recently, after a few seconds he finally found out it the same.
“I think I do Tak, ever since you came into my life again.” He said looking at Tak.
Her antennas went straight up, and looked at him.
“Really Zim, I kind of felt the same way.” She said then scoots a little closer to him, her hand above his.
“Ever since you came back Tak, my life changed, I thought that no one cared for me but you changed that, and ever since you came into my life again, I started to feel strange.”
“What you mean feeling strange.” She asked in a soft tone, eyes half opened.
“By this.” He said warmly, then started lean in toward Tak, she noticed and also leaned to him, both felt their lips into a passionate kiss, she was shocked at first but then started to enjoy it and wrapped her arms around him, never wanting this moment to stop, like time froze.
After a couple of minutes he finally let go and looked at Tak, who was clearly a blushing mess.
“Zim, I don’t know what to say.” She asked very embarrassed and joy at the same time.
“Tak, before you came I had no feelings for anyone, only loyal to my mission and me, but you changed that, ever since you came I started feeling this, a feeling I thought I would never have for anyone, but I found that feeling in you, Tak I love you.” He said to her.
At this point tears were coming from Tak’s purple eyes, happy that she finally found love.
“Zim, I thought you were someone who wouldn’t care for anyone & anything but yourself, but I found out you weren’t, and ever since I first saw you, I developed a feeling, a feeling I would try my best to ignore, but couldn’t ignore it any longer, Zim I love you so much.” She said then hugging him and cryed happily.

Both Zim & Tak looked into each others eyes, and couldn’t resist each other anymore, they both shared another kiss, but longer, hoping that this moment will never end, and it was finally the happiest moment of their miserable lives.
