Chapter VVII – A Night to Remember.

Months now has passed for the two Irken lovers, Zim decided not to go to Skool anymore for two reasons.
One is that there is no point to it since he doesn’t have a mission anymore.
And two was that Tak kept telling at him to stay far away as possible from Dib.
Ever since the nightmare Tak has been so concerned over Zim, even getting afraid when he walks out of the door of his base.
He decided to lay low for her concern and not to make her worry a lot.
It was morning and they were eating waffles, something Zim would usually eat from Gir, but decided to make some for Tak also since she never got to experience them.
“Hey your right, this is not bad.” Tak said while eating waffles.
“Good thing Gir taught me how to make them.” He said also eating.
“Anything for you my love.” He said giving a warm smile, which made Tak blush again.
“You know you got to stop doing that, it makes me blush all the time.” She said jokingly.
“Tak I was wondering, since were together, I was kind of thinking.” He said, lay his waffles down.
“What is it Zim?” she asked him.
“I was wondering if tonight we can go do something together, and have some fun.” He asked her in a concern tone.
“You mean like a date together Zim?” she asked looking at the confused irken.
“I guess so, if you put it that way Tak.” He said.
“Can we please go at night?, this way Dib won’t find and try to kill us.” She asked concerned.
“Sounds like a good idea.” Zim said.
They both continued eating they’re waffles, and decided to prepare for their date later.
Zim was working on his Voot Cruiser most of the day to make the hologram chip work more perfectly.
Meanwhile Tak was spending most of the day on her human hologram and on what to wear with it.
Zim’s new hologram is now also better than before, he turned it on.
His dark hair grew a little longer, his skin turned human normal and he was wearing a red hood jacked with dark jeans.
“I hope Tak likes it.” He said looking at himself at the mirror in his room.
In the meanwhile downstairs Tak turned on her upgraded hologram, she was now the same old human form, but her hair with ponytails and purple shirt with the Irken mark on the middle and blue jeans.
“Perfect, I just hope Zim thinks so.” She said to herself.
As the day kept passing they were getting both nervous on how the date will turn out, finally it’s eight and both of them turned on their holograms and looked at each other.
“You look cute/nice!” They both shouted out.
Realizing what they said, they both blushed and holds hand as they enter the Vootcruiser, which was now disguised as a helicopter with the upgraded hologram chip.
“Nice thinking there Zim.” Tak says as she entered the disguised cruiser.
“Anything for you, and anything not to get us caught.” Said Zim as he entered after her.
When the cruiser ascended they would see the many colored lights of the city, followed by the lights on the sky by the stars.
“It’s so beautiful.” Said Tak looking the surroundings.
“Maybe, but I know someone even more beautiful.” Said Zim to his love, she kissed him on the cheeks playfully.
“So, where should we go?” he asked her.
She then started thinking of a place then she thought one up.
“How bout the disco, it’s near where my former base was?” asked Tak.
“If you say so Tak.” Zim then followed her orders and headed off to the place near Tak’s former base laid.
Near it laid a line of people going one by one into a building which on top says “The Dancing Frogs” a famous dance club for teenagers.
As they waited in line, they would see many teens and their girlfriends, some of them whistle when seeing Zim, unknown to him but angered Tak a little.
They passed the guard who took a look at them and asked there ages, and then they went in.
As they entered, they would see many people dancing with a loud music, Tak quickly dragged Zim as they would start dancing together.
Some other girls kept coming at Zim, but Tak kept pulling him away from them with a “He’s mine, back off!” sign.
Also some boys were winking at Tak, who just ignored them as she kept dragging Zim away, as much as he tried to punch there lights out.
They would continue to dance and to avoid drinking anything since they don’t want any bad aftermaths.

An hour passed and they decided to leave the place and luckily, with no drinking.
“So where off to now Zim?” Tak asking anticipated.
“You still want to go out?” Asked Zim who was getting tired.
“How bout we just go to the park then?” she asked him as she pulled him into the cruiser.
“Fine, but only for a few minutes.” Zim yawned as he flied the cruiser to the park.
As they reached the park, they noticed that there was no one, which was perfect for them.
They would walk around the park, talking about there time in Irk and the training days.
Zim would get really tired from walking and decided to sit down on a nearby bench, joined by Tak.
“Sorry if I’m tired like this Tak, I’m just not so used to going out like this.” Said Zim who felt kind of exhausted.
“It’s alright, to be honest this was the best moment of my life, and you’re quite a great dancer.” She laughed out and scoots a little closer to him.
“Thanks for showing me a good time Zim.” She said wrapping her arms around him.
“No problem, it was fun for both of us.” He said also embracing her.
As they continue to hug, they would be surprised seeing a full moon, which reminded both of them of their home planet.
“I miss Irk.” Said Zim.
“Me too, so much, but being with you is much better than being in Irk.” Tak said holding him tight.
They both left the park and decided to head back home as it was getting late, as they reached home, Tak had fallen asleep first on the cruiser.
Zim then decided to carry her into their room, and laughed a little looking at her sleeping.
He turned off her hologram and laid her on the bed, he took off his clothes, Tak opened her eye just a little to see him and giggled a little while he wasn’t looking and closed it again, as he wore his pajamas and fallen asleep right next to her.
