Chapter VVIIII – Suffering & Separation.

The next day Zim would wake up, Tak was sleeping near him with her arms around him as usual, he smiled and got up, hoping that he didn’t wake her up.
“Hope I don’t wake her up.” He said quietly while leaving the room.
He decided to head downstairs to make breakfast for her, he picked up the waffles.
While in the kitchen he would notice that the front door of his house is open.
“That’s strange, I thought I close that last night.” He said going for the door.
As he reached his hand to close it outside, something would hit him hard on his head, making him faint as some people in uniform would take him away.

A few hours later Tak would wake up and try her best to put her arms around for Zim, she opened her eyed and realized that he’s not in bed.
“I guess he woke up first.” She said getting up and changing.
Later she would look in his room and the kitchen, finding no track of him.
“Zim, where are you, this isn’t funny!” she started to get scared.
As she kept looking, she saw that the front door is opened, and getting nervous, knowing that Zim wouldn’t go anywhere without telling her.
She checked the area and noticed that there were bloods on matt, she immediately started to get afraid.
“No, it’s can’t be.” She said in a shocked voice.

Meanwhile Zim would wake up in a dark room, with a very painful headache.
“Ouch, what happened, where am i?” he asked himself as he was coming to reality.
As he tried to move he couldn’t and later see that both his arms and legs were shackled.
“What’s going on!?” he started panicking.
“Finally he’s awake, this way he can feel his suffering” said a voice in the shadows.
The whole place lighted up a little and Zim noticed that Dib was behind all this, he was surrounded by scientist and guards.
“Why Dib, why wouldn’t you just leave me and Tak alone?!” he noticed something.
“Tak, you better have not done anything to her!!!” He screamed out, hoping she’s not hurt.
“Don’t worry Zim, she’s still at your base, it’s you that I want revenge on.” Dib pointed out.
Zim tried his best to shake his shackles off him with no avail, but would try working his Pak but then noticed it’s been shut off somehow.
“Please don’t do this!” He pleaded out, trying his best on not making this his way of dying.
Few minutes later scientists would surround him, looking at the Irken with scalpels and machinery, one of them talked to Dib.
“We are prepared to do the dissection.” The scientist said to Dib.
Zim was shocked after hearing that, wishing that this wasn’t real.
“Wait, you can’t do this to me!” he screamed to Dib.
“Keep that up and I might tell where the other Irken is also located Zim, so be quiet!” he said in a cold voice.
After that Zim kept quiet, trying his best not to get Tak involved in this, fearing for her life.
As the scientists started taking scalpels and surround the defenseless Irken, he close his eyes and try his best to ignore the stinging pain into his body, hoping it all would go away.

Meanwhile back at Zim’s base was a petrified Irken, searching everywhere for her mate.
“Zim where are you!?” she kept screaming, but no response.
She immediately went into his lab and trace him.
As she reached the main computer she would try locating him.
“Computer, locate Zim’s Pak.” She screamed at it.
“Processing, Zim’s Pak is not functional.” It responded.
Tak was then shocked and afraid, if Zim’s Pak isn’t working then that means he’s in deep trouble.
“Find the last place it was operated!” she screamed.
“Sending coordinates.” It said.
As it wrote the coordinates, Tak quickly realize it was the Membrane Lab.
“Curse that Dib!” she screamed out, slamming her fist into the computer.
She immediately went into Zim’s cruiser and headed off to the coordinates.
“Please Zim, stay alive!” she said to herself as she was flying there.

Meanwhile back at the lab, Zim was suffering an incredible amount of pain.
His limps were cut and so sore, he couldn’t feel anything since he lost a lot of blood.
He would try his best to ignore the pain but much to his failure he couldn’t.
His only thought during it is that he hopes that Tak is alright and not hurt like him.
“As long as she’s alive.” He said quietly to himself, before fainting from the pain.
