Photoshop Elements 5, actually. It doesn't have the pen tool, which is a bummer, so I have to use GIMP 2 to do the outlines and then transfer the file into PS.

I'd be curious to check out that program, though. Does it have the pen tool by any chance? I'd be handy to be able to do these drawings all in one program.

I have PS elements 5 thatcame with my tabletand I am currently using PS CS2 which has thevpen tool. Transering sounds like a pain inthe ass. Don't get PaintshopPro. That was the first Digital art program I used and the brushes sucked horribly since it's like working inMS paint.. It does have the pen tool though. A higher version of Photoshop would be your best bet.

I may also recvomend the program SAI to download because you have a lot more coloring options. I am not too sure of it having a pen tool or not. I can't use it cuz it isn't compatible with my Mac but my friend, *enigmatia uses it and enjoys it. You might want to ask her about it since she knows more about it then I do and she can reccomend free prigrams that are good!
